Frequently asked questions
Everything people ask me on the phone, answered here so you don't have to ask.
Pricing and payment
Money.
How much does a professional website in Mallorca cost?
Four packages with fixed prices: €200 for a custom landing page, €300 for up to 5 pages, €500 for up to 10 pages with extended SEO, and from €800 if you need custom functionality. VAT included and in writing before we start.
Is anything payable up front?
50% when you approve the proposal and 50% at launch. That's it — there's no compulsory monthly fee.
Do prices include VAT?
Yes, every price you see includes Spanish VAT.
What if the project grows halfway through?
I tell you the cost of the addition before doing it and you decide. Nothing you haven't approved ever appears on the final invoice.
Timings and process
Time.
How long does a website take?
5 to 10 pages, 2 to 4 weeks from the moment you approve the proposal. An online shop or custom functionality, 4 to 8 weeks. A landing page, 7–10 days.
What do you need from me?
A good hour of conversation at the start, whatever photos and logo you have, and an answer when I send something to review. The rest I do.
Can I see progress before the end?
Yes, and that's how I work. You see the home page first and comment as it's built, which is when changing costs nothing.
SEO and results
Google.
Is local SEO included?
Yes, in every project and at no extra cost: structure and URLs, titles and copy built around the searches people really make in your area, structured data, speed, a sitemap, and setting up or cleaning your Google Business Profile.
Can you guarantee first place on Google?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. What I do is leave the site technically impeccable, work the searches that genuinely matter to you, and measure it month by month. For Cristalleria Arxiduc that meant four months to page one.
How long does SEO take to show?
First movements, 4 to 8 weeks. Solid ranking changes, 3 to 6 months. Anyone promising results in two weeks is talking about ads, not SEO.
Do you run Google Ads campaigns?
I don't manage them. I do prepare the site and landing page so the money you put into ads doesn't land on a slow or confusing page, and I'll tell you who to talk to if you want campaigns.
Ownership and maintenance
Afterwards.
Who owns the site once it's built?
You do. Domain, hosting, code and every login in your name from day one. If tomorrow you want to move it elsewhere, you don't need my permission or a release fee.
Can I edit the text myself?
Yes, with a simple panel for text, photos, prices and hours. I'll show you in half an hour and using it costs nothing.
What does maintenance include?
Backups, security updates, keeping an eye on the site staying up, and small changes. It's optional, fixed-price, and bought separately from the package.
What if you disappear?
Fair question. That's why everything is in your name and the code is standard: any developer can pick it up. I don't tie you to me or to a proprietary platform.
Working together
The rest.
Do you only work with businesses in Mallorca?
Mostly, and on purpose: knowing the island and your real competitors makes the work better. If you're elsewhere and the project fits, we can still talk.
In which languages?
Catalan, Spanish and English. Sites can be built multilingual, with the SEO worked in each language — not machine-translated and shipped.
Do you work with very small clients?
Yes. A sole trader with a well-built landing page interests me as much as a thirty-person company. What I don't take on are projects where nobody has time to explain the business to me.
Tell me what's going wrong.
I'll look at your site and your competitors on Google and tell you what I'd do and what it would cost. Free. If it doesn't fit, you keep the analysis and that's that.
